"At 5303 Charlotte Avenue, this long-delayed spot opens as a laid-back option for pub food, craft beers, and spirits, scheduled to start pouring at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 22. The dive-style bar offers 32 beers on draft and a full bar, with a specialty cocktail menu reportedly in the works. Owned by Hardy Ross (co-owner of the longstanding Broadway Brewhouse bars) and his wife Elisabeth, the team aimed for a “wood and casual” renovation of the space formerly occupied by Bajo Sexto. The no-frills opening lineup, developed with input from Ed Arace, head chef at the multiple Brewhouses, includes sandwiches, appetizers (wings), and salads starting at $6.99.
