"Hand-sheeted pasta shipped fresh from Bologna because of a particular Italian egg yields elemental, ingredient-driven dishes offered at modest prices; $16 pasta servings include tonnarelli all’amatriciana, tagliatelle al ragú, and tortellini in brodo that model classic Italian recipes. The kitchen retains two large pasta stations and a half wrap-around bar with 24 seats so cooks can plate dishes directly in front of diners, with a few scattered tables for those who prefer not to sit at the bar. The Mid-Wilshire outpost occupies the ground floor of the new Vision high-rise at the corner of Wilshire and Crescent Heights, features a modern wood-paneled design by Marmol Radziner, has drawn critical praise, and operates daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with delivery available via Postmates." - Matthew Kang
