Furanxo Deli Brings Tinned Fish and Natural Wine to Exmouth Market | Eater London

"Originally opened in 2016 on Dalston Lane as the retail frontage for a Broadway Market stall and the importer Santos and Santos (founded by Manuel de los Santos in 2012), this quality Spanish wine shop, deli and tinned-fish specialist is celebrated for its technicolour conservas, raw-milk cheeses, Iberian charcuterie, a broad selection of natural wines, an encyclopaedic devotion to vermut and an exceptionally strong line in beautifully packaged Spanish crisps. Co-owned by Manuel de los Santos and Xabier Alvarez (the latter a chef and co-owner of Newington Green’s Trangállan), the shop transforms into one of London’s finest wine bars in the evenings. After operating mainly as an online shop and delivery service during the 2020 lockdowns, it is expanding into Clerkenwell by taking over the former Borough Wines space, aiming to open around 17 August." - James Hansen
