The Best New Restaurants in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Chefs Rebecca Wilcomb (who won a James Beard Award while at the helm of Herbsaint before opening Gianna under the Link Restaurant Group) and Marcus Jacobs (Marjie’s Grill, Seafood Sally’s, Porgy’s Seafood Market) promise an ever-changing menu at the Marigny’s new Mediterranean go-to, Evviva. It’s only been open a month, but the menu has already seen broiled triggerfish on the half shell with green peppercorn butter, linguini fra diavolo, and slow-roasted pork jowl with pepper vinegar. In the former home of the Franklin, Evviva is keeping the $7 martini tradition alive daily from 5 to 7 p.m." - Clair Lorell
