"After two years of rumors, the first Westside location of Triple Beam Pizza will open at 11 a.m. on June 20 along Main Street a few blocks from the beach; the original Triple Beam was opened in 2018 by Nancy Silverton, chef Matt Molina (Pizzeria Mozza), and Randy Clement, and has since expanded from Highland Park (where Clement owns the compound that houses the first location) to Echo Park, Glendora, and now Santa Monica. Triple Beam is known for its thin Roman-style pizzas topped with ingredients like acorn squash, roasted fennel, pepperoni, and fresh mozzarella, and for rotating seasonal specials highlighting local produce and flavors such as a roasted spring corn pizza and a chicken bulgogi pie; the Santa Monica outpost will have a similar menu with executive chef Juan Robles leading the kitchen." - Rebecca Roland
