"It looks like cult-favorite boba tea shop Tiger Sugar plans to bring its third U.S. location to Carrollton, following its debuts in New York City and Los Angeles; the Taiwan-born chain, founded in 2017, now has more than 40 outposts worldwide, including shops in Malaysia, China, Thailand, Canada, and the Philippines. A job posting on Indeed indicates plans for a Carrollton location, though no address or opening timeline has been announced, and the chain is said to be "urgently hiring" servers and supervisors for the outpost. While the menu may resemble that of other boba tea shops, Tiger Sugar has earned Instagram fame for its "tiger stripe" milk tea lattes crowned with cream mousse, named for the dramatic caramelized brown sugar syrup stripes inside each cup. Additional U.S. locations are reportedly in the works in San Diego and Las Vegas, and there’s no word yet on when the DFW debut will happen." - Amy McCarthy
