A Polished Old Hollywood-Inspired Supper Club Heads to the Sunset Strip | Eater LA

"A sleek Old Hollywood–inspired supper club arrives on the Sunset Strip on November 6, taking over the former Den on Sunset after its 16-year run ended in March 2025. From founders Trae Meyer-Whalley and Simon Pompan, the bistro-leaning menu by executive chef Gabriel Lindsey (with partner Ben Ford) leans into California ingredients: shrimp cocktail on ice with caper rémoulade; sweet potatoes charred over charcoal, split and drizzled with chopped fermented chilis, maple butter, and lime; a late summer corn salad with blistered kernels and ribbons of zucchini; and the Galerie burger blanketed in Gruyère and French onion sauce, plus larger plates like pan-roasted chicken in a shallow pool of lemon, capers, garlic confit, and brown jus, and a New York strip topped with peppers. The bar program, led by Dushan Zaric (Employees Only), riffs on classics with drinks like the butterfly pea powder mezcal Double Take with elderflower, passionfruit, and amaro; a reworked Harvey Wallbanger with blood orange vodka, Galliano, chamomile, and clarified citrus; and the Flying Grasshopper with reposado tequila, crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and vanilla ice cream, alongside zero-proof options like the chamomile, fig, and elderflower tonic Clean Sheet and the False Promise with ginger beer and jasmine sencha. Guests slip through red velvet curtains to a marble-clad outdoor patio designed by Jake Santelli and Brandon Quattrone, with sturdy round-legged wood tables and cane cantilever chairs; inside, two red leather banquettes flank a walnut DJ booth with two-tops tracing the room. Beyond dinner service, the space doubles as a cultural venue with regular DJs, listening parties, jazz nights, and art exhibitions curated by Tyler Santangelo, debuting with a show from artist Samual Elliot Phillips; hours run Tuesday to Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 2 a.m." - Rebecca Roland
