"I found a very shiny shop one floor below the Sunset Boulevard branch of Fred Segal that serves as Los Angeles’s outpost of New York’s first cereal bar and feels like a quintessential corner ice cream shop where freshness, quality, and flavor matter. The Kith Treats menu is full of signature specials that can be turned into an ice cream swirl, milkshake, or a bowl, and many were created by recognizable names: Action Bronson’s “Bam Bam,” an impossibly sweet combination of Rice Krispies, Cookie Crisp, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Kit Kat, crushed Oreos, and Marshmallow Cereal Charms; and LeBron James’s “The King’s Treat,” which contains Cinnamon Toast Crunch, granola, and Snickers — James even stopped by to sample one during NBA All-Star Weekend. Founder Ronnie Fieg opened the first New York cereal bar in 2015, and this Los Angeles branch inside a Kith clothing store debuted on February 16, offering items unavailable elsewhere like non-dairy ice cream and handmade waffle cones; prices start at $6.50 with customizable options. Kith Treats currently also has locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Manhasset, Miami, and Tokyo, and the West Hollywood hours are Monday–Friday 10 a.m.–9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.; it’s located at 8500 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, CA." - Mona Holmes
