Seattle restaurateur Tom Douglas’ opening Nordstrom Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Confirmed to be up and running by the end of fall, this first Las Vegas expansion from James Beard Outstanding Restaurateur Tom Douglas is the chef's second collaboration with the Nordstrom retail empire and will replace the 15-year-old Marketplace Café at the Fashion Show mall. Described to OpenTable as hosting a “casual yet sophisticated dining room,” I expect a welcoming environment for shoppers, families, or anyone looking to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. The Jeannie's specialty will be pizza made with hand-crafted dough, blistered to perfection and topped with fresh produce, artisan cheese and charcuterie; the menu will also include seasonally influenced appetizers, salads, pastas, and warm sandwiches called “toasties,” plus a full bar and gelato for dessert.
