"Opening October 21 in East Hollywood, Chef Aric Attebery (Bouchon Bistro, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Otium) is launching a casual counter-serve restaurant in partnership with Backyard Hospitality that centers on farm-driven salads and grain bowls. The menu highlights a market rice bowl with Lopes Family Farms brown rice and Coleman Farms greens, a kimchi grain bowl with Weiser melon kimchi, a grilled steak bowl, and seasonal sides like blistered wax beans. Fountain Grains & Greens will focus on sourcing produce directly from local farmers — in addition to Lopes and Weister, it will work with Kandarian Organic Farm, Fat Uncle Farms, and Tehachapi Grain Projects — and in the months after opening plans to introduce a market component selling pickles, jams, local produce, and more." - Rebecca Roland
