"Tucked inside Blossom Plaza in Chinatown, this cozy new wine bar from downtown restaurateur David DeLuca quietly began serving locals last weekend ahead of a grand opening tomorrow. DeLuca, who also runs the popular Downtown spot Ham & Eggs, is running a tight ship here: bottles start as low as $28 and beers run $6–$8, with takeaway bottles available and light meat-and-cheese snacking for those who linger. The Patrick Bernatz–designed interior centers on a wide wooden bar with mostly bar stools and a few low two-top tables around the compact room. LA Wine will keep hours from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, extending to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights." - Farley Elliott
