"I learned that Little Brother opened a new walk-up kolache and coffee window on Thursday, September 17 inside the Maufrais lifestyle store at 1512 South Congress Avenue in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. The Tiny Rainey Street bar’s walk-up window serves sweet and savory kolaches made by Lindsay O’Rourke (the executive pastry chef at sibling spots Better Half and Hold Out Brewing), with current flavors including cherry/pistachio and tasso ham with Swiss cheese and other fillings expected such as mulled apple and pecan, cherry and chevre, pork cheek carnitas with asadero, and pastrami and egg. For drinks the shop offers a full menu of espresso drinks and iced coffee (there isn’t any booze at this location), and because of the novel coronavirus pandemic it operates as a walk-up window with to-go orders placed in person; hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday through Sunday." - Erin Russell
