"Koreatown’s nightlife gets a new jolt on February 14 with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, an over-the-top Art Deco–cum–disco lounge tucked into the former Pot space inside the Line Hotel and operated by Mark and Jonnie Houston. The interior is a weirdly futuristic pastiche of textures, colors, and furniture—think Studio 54 meets The Great Gatsby—with a supper club–style stage and retro dance floor that signals a focus on nightly live entertainment. Drinks come from Adam Fournier (formerly of NoMad LA), who aims to elevate bad 1970s cocktails; highlights include a gold-dust–swirled coupe that blends gin, vodka, and fino sherry and a Tiki-looking Blue Hawaiian. The hotel’s chefs Josiah Citrin and Richard Archuleta compile vegan-only, snacky dishes like a cashew cheeseburger and mushroom lettuce tacos (food served 8–10 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on weekends), and the venue itself is open 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., Wednesday to Saturday; Paco Versailles will open with a four-month residency, performing every first Thursday of each month." - Matthew Kang
