Mid City Pizza Is Reopening Its Original Banks Street Location in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans
"After months of renovations, I note that Magasin Vietnamese Cafe is now open at 4226 Magazine Street, just across from the restaurant’s original location that closed in 2022. Owner Kim Nguyen said she moved from the former Oak Street location, where the business was called Mukbang, because the previous space was too big and sales and foot traffic were inconsistent. Nguyen’s mother is helping lead the new restaurant—Nguyen said her mom “loves Magazine Street,” decided to come out of retirement to help, and is a self-described busybody. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday." - Justine Jones
