"Owner and beverage director Danilo Simic has introduced new seasonal cocktails to neighborhood gems Nina May and Opal in Chevy Chase. At Opal, the “Apple Fiesta” is prepared with reposado tequila, lime, apple cider reduction, and cinnamon essence. Over at Nina May, the seasonal margarita boasts tequila, agave, lime and seasonal fruits while the “Negroni Flip” is made with gin, campari, cocchi americano, and lime foam. There’s another called “Smokey the Pear #2” with mezcal, pear brandy, pear purée, lime, and ginger and finally, the “Scotchmen Love Chocolate” combines Johnnie Walker red, drambuie, orange bitters, and a chocolate stick." - Vinciane Ngomsi
