"Make Saturday a fun outing with a stroll through Downtown’s Market Square Park Farmers Market. The new open-air farmers market has partnered with Central City Co-Op, the city’s oldest organic, sustainable food co-op to bring dozens of growers, makers, and merchants from the region each week. Find pastries from Love Croissants, homegrown raw and unfiltered honey from Uncommon Bees, and fresh meat from Jolly Farms Chicken, plus live entertainment and plenty of activities for the kiddos. The market, hosted on Saturdays through November 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. also accepts various forms of payment, including SNAP-EBT." - Brittany Britto Garley, Lane Gillespie
