José Andrés to Get Honorary Doctorate for His Public Service

"Selected as the 2018 commencement speaker for its nutrition school and set to receive an honorary doctorate for public service, the university honored a chef whose recent humanitarian year included organizing warm meals for hurricane-hit Puerto Rico—reportedly delivering more cooked food than federal relief—cooking for Houston flood victims, distributing food to survivors of California wildfires, and feeding participants at the March for Our Lives march.
