Everything was great - food, service and ambiance. They were super accommodating to my dog, even bringing him his own bowl of water. The server was super sweet and didn't care that my big potato stretched out on the patio! The food presentation was beautiful and amazing selection of craft beer. Thank you!

I made a quick stop, approx 45 minutes before closing, Monday the 28th April. Usually servers an bartenders are looking to close shop an get out, which was the case at the AC Morth hotel, but I digress. As soon as we walked in, the bartender ( forget her name but receipt says pm bar 1 an 2), greeted with a smile, gave menus asking immediately what our preference for drink was. This is ol school and refreshing from a consumer standpoint. They have a great selection of Bourbons, too many to list, as well as beers. My guest was unsure of which beer, she graciously offered suggestions with samples. I ordered the chicken wings, which were good. The Nashville cooked were slightly dry but tasty. In the end we were never ever rushed, she kept offering her services. Great atmosphere, sport tvs, very clean and awesome workers there. Great selections of drinks an food, it's a cant miss. Highly recommend. UPDATE: 2nd return, staff is unbelievably friendly, a rare experience to see staff interacting, laughing enjoying their job, all while taking care of you. I ordered their chili which was possibly the best Ive had yet. The cup portioned literally satisfied my appetite. This contains more meats, along with cheese and spices, satisfies your hunger.

I have been here dozens of times over the last three years. The staff is extremely friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I highly recommend the steak & cheese egg rolls to split with friends. Menu has many different sandwiches, as well as pizzas and salad bowls - personally favorites include the short rib melt and Longcross crunch. They have a large assortment of beers and are regularly switching them out every month (beer isn’t my thing but this is probably a + if it is). They have also added an outside patio area which has a TV and a bar - haven’t had the chance to sit out there yet. It would be nice if they had a musician or guitarist there on the weekends when there isn’t a game on to help draw in crowds, but other then that they have plenty of TV’s with sports on

Google
Really enjoyed my dinner here, came back twice in the last year & they were still really good. The steak & cheese egg rolls were my favorite, really good start with as an appetizer. The Nashville hot Mac& cheese tenders was also really good not as spicy or hot as I thought it would be but still really good. Overall this is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for a bar & kitchen style restaurant with good eats.

I remembered being at Station Landing with my friend back in 2019. The place hadn’t opened yet, and we talked about giving it a try once it did. A few months later, COVID started. Now, in June 2025, I finally gave this place a try. All I had today was a beer. I was looking for something light—like a Bud Light or Coors Light—but didn’t see those on the menu, so I got a Sam Adams instead. Overall, the place looks great. The food menu looks solid too. I’ll definitely come back a few more times for a regular dinner and cocktails. But I probably won’t come back just for a beer. There are plenty of other bars that serve cheaper beers—like $2 Bud Light, Labatt, or $3 Coors Light. When I have those options, I really don’t want to pay $9 for a beer here.

Google
Nice place to hang out after work, but food was hit or miss. The nachos was excellent, but that gumbo was a crime. Who puts BBQ sauce in gumbo?! Za’atar lamb burger smelled like the zoo. The za’atar could have saved it, but there was barely any.

Google
Still in Boston... still here for work, but over the weekend. I thought I would try a place just a block from the hotel... great dish, great bar- well stocked :) buuuut.... although easy on the eyes, I witnessed more than one female bartender touch her hair or face or nose or bite her nails, then serve customers. The average age of the bar on a Friday is much younger and more drunk than me, and doesnt seem to care, but guess what? Sadly, I noticed. Other than that, this place is fantastic and the food stellar!

Google
This restaurant was a good choice of having dinner. The food was delicious. We ordered fish and chips, hamburger sandwich, and Mexican salad. I loved the cheese and the artichoke on the salad. It was though a bit pricey but I recommend trying it at least once. The second time I was there was in summer time. The outdoor area was beautiful, so we sat there. We had super, it was fantastic. We ordered fries and pretzel rolls. AMAZING.

Yelp
we came to this restaurant on a Saturday night after a little gambling at encore casino. And I have to say me and my wife were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. She ordered a salad and I ordered the short rib sandwich, which was on point!!! The short rib was tender and moist, and did not taste dry at all the highlight of the night however was there damn chili. I don't order chili too often but I'm so glad I did. This was one of the best chilies I've ever had.... I look forward to my time to go back and my wife has been talking about it ever since.

Yelp
We went here before a show at the Chevalier theater and this was conveniently located near our hotel. The pros: -the woman that showed us to our table was very nice and bubbly. -plenty of tables to choose from. -the Prosecco pours were very generous. -the French fries (that were forgotten because I had to remind them I ordered fries). The cons: -the burrata appetizer was a small portion of cheese served in a bunch of warm tomatoes. -the pizza was so undercooked. You can never go wrong with thick cut pepperoni pizza, but it needs to actually be cooked. -while the coating on the chicken tenders was nice, the amount of meat was very little, which made them chewy. I hope maybe they were having a bad night? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We actually ended up at Regina'a after the show, since we didn't eat much of our food from dinner and were hungry. Waitress never inquired why we barely ate our food either.

Yelp
We have tried Longcross a couple times, and one of my favorite things about the restaurant is that it's open late and serves food late. The restaurant is nice and cozy on the inside, and pretty spacious. We ordered to go this particular time, and it was good but not amazing. we got the steak tips and the turkey tips. Half of the turkey tips were a bit dry, which is unfortunate. The amount of meat in the turkey tips and the steak tips was also a bit disappointing for the price. My boyfriend really enjoyed the Mac and cheese and I did enjoy the grilled vegetables with the turkey tips. There were way bigger servings of the sides than the meat, which left us wanting more. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening and we managed to snag seats at the bar without too much an issue. The ambiance was very much a sports bar with your typical Americana food so it fit my expectations well there. The menu had a good mix of entrees and things to share - nothing special honestly. The service was extremely slow. The bartenders were apologetic and we tried to be understanding, but we quite honestly waited about an hour for our food. If we had known it would take that long, we would've just gotten drinks and that's it - the food also was pretty disappointing. The calamari was all right and the sandwich was extremely dry and not at all worth the wait. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back for food - the vibe and drinks were probably the highlight. I would say you're better off getting dinner elsewhere in the end.

Yelp
Service! Service! Service! Alright.. so I was in town on a short business trip last week and walked to this quaint little spot just a minute away. The menu has a variety of interesting options and I was scoping out other dishes while they came out of the kitchen. I was able to chat with both bartenders while deciding what I wanted to eat. Eventually, I had them pick my mean and it did not disappoint! I had the chx enchiladas with the sauce on the side. Absolutely amazing!!! I also ordered a small side salad, which was anything but small. Next time I shall try the gumbo as it looked amazing too. Thank you to the LongCross staff! It is rare these days when you get to go out solo and have friendly and welcoming service. You made me feel like instant friends. I wish you all the best!

Yelp
It was our first time here but it was the perfect spot to watch the Celtics finals game. They have a big bar with plenty of seating as well as side tables all with decent views of the TV. There is also a corner area where the TV is projected onto a screen which is great for groups. They also have good brew options but also good menu options for bar food. The prosciutto fig pizza was surprisingly delicious. A good amount of prosciutto and they were also generous with the balsamic. Also had a great crispy crust. Bangkok wings were also delicious! We thought the jalapeño Mac and cheese was OK. It was rather bland with Jalapeños just thrown on top. Other than that, the bar tender was super friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

Jenny T.

Yelp
Food: Burrata salad was perfection. We even had leftovers so I took it to go. I got the Gaucho steak sandwich (replace french fries with fingerling potatoes), which was very meh. The steak wasn't anything special, and honestly the sandwich felt kind of soggy lol like the cheese or whatever didn't do well inside. The potatoes were good though, so I had a ton of leftovers lol because you could easily split a sandwich/burger among 2 people. Service: The kitchen closes pretty fast haha at like 9, so we were rushing to place orders. Ambiance: The place was like dead on a Sunday night (like 8pm). It does get pretty in the summer with outdoor seating though, plenty of seating inside.

Yelp
10/14 went for a late evening dinner to LongCross! I've been here before but just for drinks, came for dinner with my mom tonight. The ambiance is cute, cozy and dark. The fire gives such great cozy vibes. It is dark, my mother had to use her flash light to read the menu. We came on a Monday and started with their .50c wings! AMAZING deal for some great wings, had the hot honey and buffalo. The hot honey was good and the buffalo was not a traditional buffalo. The ranch, GOOD. Next shared their new turkey tips. The meal is huge and was enough for two (we even had leftovers). The Mac n cheese here is the real deal. The glaze on top of the turkey tips was top notch. The green beans were seasoned well but undercooked and very crunchy. Our service was good but god they over work them here. Whole restaurant and only two servers, our guy was busting his butt off. Hard to get excellent service when they are severely understaffed. He still did wonderful and were appreciative to him. My mom said this was one of her favorite meals since visiting me.

Yelp
Recently moved to the area and checked out along cross with my family! It's a sister restaurant of the Old Magoon Saloon which i've always loved. I may like it here even more. There was a really great variety of food from pizza to pasta to sandwiches, truly something for everyone. The beers are German which are some of my favorites. I absolutely loved my short rib melt. Will have to come back to try some of the pizzas and check out the patio!

Yelp
Needed a place to meet our Medford-living daughter and our Charlestown-based son for Saturday lunch. LongCross won the assignment and it is likely to be atop the future lunch list for the Medford area. Great, easy parking. A new building and restaurant with lots of windows. Service was very good, seated right away and orders taken for drinks and food at a leisurely but not "they forgot about us" pace. It is Oktoberfest so I tried an Oktoberfest beer, of which there were several, and brats. Delicious. Our daughter got a burger and I admit I ate 1/4 of it and brought the rest home with me. Best burger I have had in a while. Perfectly cooked and good flavor. Nice decor, comfy. High tops, regular seating and bar seating all available. Saw a family with about 5 small kids having an early lunch. All kids had "kid cups with lids" so seems like a kid-friendly place.

Monica S.

Yelp
3.5 stars for food and ambience. We came in and it took a little to be acknowledged. Everyone at the bar, including the staff looked and went back to their business. Definitely different! We were sat and ordered. Our food was really tasty - we especially liked my pasta. Loads of flavors and juicy shrimp. The sausage had chorizo and it added a nice touch. We didn't get any refills until it was time to go.

Rick M.

Yelp
Good food and great staff. Had a wonderful night of food and drinks. The restaurant was close to our hotel which was very convenient

Kellianne H.

Yelp
We stayed in the Fairfield across the street. Great location and diverse menu. We actually went two nights for dinner and Ben was a server both times. Very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The steak tips were delicious, Mac n cheese = yum. Drinks were strong and vibe was on point. If you're looking for a casual place, that has a very dynamic menu this is your spot. Plenty of parking in the garage next door and right off the Orange line

Samantha A.

Yelp
I made reservations for 8 people for lunch time on a weekday (only open Thursday and Fridays for lunch). The staff members were great over the phone and in person for our lunch. Inside has plenty of tables and a nice vibe. It was slow since we arrived right where they opened which was nice. When we left a few hours later it was bustling. They have a parking lot right outside the restaurant which is free. We ordered appetizers, the nachos, potstickers and the pretzel. I ordered the bourbon burger with sweet potato fries. Most people ordered a burger or a sandwich and everyone liked what they got. Everything was delicious. They gave a huge bar area and beer and wine menu. I highly recommend stopping by!

Nelson R.

Yelp
Great place for food and drinks. There is also plenty of parking. We will definitely come back.

Gianni P.

Yelp
Let me begin by saying that the staff was extremely friendly and very easy to deal with. I've visited this establishment three times and every time the food is consistent very well done and well presented. We decided to also book a rehearsaldinner at Long Cross. It was wonderful everyone enjoyed the food the drink and the service. This is definitely a place to visit without question. The ambience is one of a English style sports bar/restaurant/pub yet tastefully done. Parking is easy. It's very centrally located to most cities and towns in the area. Outstanding place.

Denise M.

Yelp
My day was made so much better by the great meal i had at Long Cross. I was not in the mood to cook and on the way home decided to give it a try based on the gluten free options available but admittedly I was worried. Sometime Irish food is subpar but I was so pleasantly surprised. Ordered the steak tips GF with broccolini and a side of fingerlings. The hot cherry peppers are always my Achilles heal when served with steak tips. The meal did not disappoint and the staff super nice with great options for beverages that are GF including the Omission gluten reduced beer. Grateful to have found this place close to home. Beautiful woodwork and outdoor seating area. Will return!!

Haley E.

Yelp
Good selection of bar food and substantial food. It's a pretty casual place and wasn't too busy on a saturday for lunch. We got pizza, nachos, spring rolls, and quesadillas. The pizza was definitely the most liked!! I would also not recommend the nachos to take on alone.

Ami J.

Yelp
Food was okay I got fish and chips. It was basically a steak of fish battered. I should have asked before ordering. I'll ry again and order something else.

Deb E.

Yelp
Hubby and I were driving around looking for a place to stop for lunch, headed toward Medford and stumbled upon Longcross and OMG, the best choice we could made! The service and food was amazing! We started with draft beers and the Crack Chicken for the appetizer... came out piping hot and absolutely delicious. We shared the fish and chips and again, came out piping hot! To say we will be back again is an understatement! We will definitely return there!!!

Marina G.

Yelp
Vibes were impeccable. Food was pretty good as well. Drink selections was pretty large and I love whiskey so it is nice to try different types and brands! Service was ok, nothing extraordinary.

Isha R.

Yelp
Love this local gem of a place! Their jalepeno mac and cheese is the best thing on earth. Sooooo goood!!! Ambiance is nice and lively, always great service when we visit, and food + drinks are delicious.

Miranda G.

Yelp
Bar area is massive definitely a good place to watch a game. Food was pretty good and would recommend especially for breakfast

Kelly S.

Yelp
We ordered clam chowder to go. Honestly it was too thick and the veggies were too crunchy for my taste.

Esther W.

Yelp
Good comfort food menu. Haven't been there in some time but loved the Reuben sandwich and the rich, creamy mac and cheese offerings. The bar is lively and the ambience is especially warm and inviting especially by the fireplace. Beautiful, spacious, dark wood bar that is the restaurant's focal point and centerpiece. Great place to dine alone or with friends.

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
This place was POPPING when we went on a Thursday night! We got there around 6 and by the time we left, almost every table looked full - and the restaurant was huge! We had a lovely table by the fireplace in the back of the restaurant, and we were very impressed by our experience. All I'd say on the constructive side - the cocktails were pretty strong (great) and didn't taste as good as we'd hoped (not great), but everything else was awesome. I'd order wine next time! Top 3 orders: 1. Mac n cheese - I cannot express how good this was. Heaven on earth. This was easily some of the best mac n cheese I've ever had, and that's saying something given I'm a total cheese fiend. It had some crunchy topping and came with pulled pork, and the serving was literally HUGE. My friend and I split it and had an entire additional portion to take home!! 2. Lust Pizza - this one was legit. We loved it! The prosciutto was rolled perfectly and placed around the pizza, and this combined with the fig jam base, generous helping of cheeses (parmesan grated as well as goat cheese) and balsamic glaze was literally unreal. Couldn't recommend more! 3. Greed Pizza - similar to the Lust, this had a great amount of cheese and although I'm not a huge pepperoni fan, I loved this one. No one ingredient was super overpowering, and the crust was SO good. Would definitely recommend LongCross for a chill night out - and get those pizzas!! They were excellent!!

Ryan W.

Yelp
worst Reuban I've ever had. gross food . Bartender was great. overall nice place. Just don't go for food.

Step R.

Yelp
This place used to be a lot better. Service is good but food is not as good as used to be. This is the second time my tap beer was just not fresh. They have a great beer selection but it's just not as fresh. The food is average and bartenders could be more engaging.

Kristin C.

Yelp
You can't really go wrong! Not a bad seat in the restaurant, service is great, and the food (at-least what we have ordered) has always been tasty. My favorite dish is the Kentucky Tenders! Super flavorful every single time!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Pros: Loved our waitress. She was very attentive and sweet. Great beer list. Cons: Kale & Bussell sprout salad was pretty bad. The lettuce was expiring. Ordered steak strips medium rare and they came out like rubber. The ingredients are all around low quality. Pic of expiring kale leads attached. Would only go here for drinks, never for any type of main entree. I didn't return the meal because I didn't want to dampen the mood for the rest of the table. I'm just grossed out and I'm not even that picky.

Asap S.

Yelp
Looked very much like a bar inside and had a cool atmosphere. Food was very good bar food. Went here twice and both times were blown away by the variety and taste. Service was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed both bar and food!

Vicki M.

Yelp
The server we had originally was so kind, but then in the middle of dinner it switched to another server with a daffy hat. He was upset we didn't know what we wanted to eat before our appetizers came out. He never introduced himself or tried to engage with us. Never said happy birthday to my friend at her family dinner. He then flipped us off when at the POS system. Awful service. The food was pretty good but for how rude the service was, I wouldn't recommend.

Javier A.

Yelp
While I cannot speak to the drinks offered, I've visited this establishment multiple times and found their food to be consistently good. Standouts for me were the short rib poutine and Bangkok wings. However, while the food was enjoyable, some of the food didn't quite exceed my expectations. Despite this, I still encourage others to give it a try, as tastes can vary greatly. For me, it's a 3-star rating, but what's a 3 for me could easily be a 5 for someone else.

Sandra S.

Yelp
The decor is nice - would be a great place to watch a game. Food was very good - we had the ragin Cajun pasta and south of the border bowl. Hearty portions and both were very tasty. Service was lacking - not very welcoming or attentive.

Hillary F.

Yelp
Service at the bar was amazing! Eduardo was a really attentive bartender and got us our drinks fast. He really took the time to talk to us & make us feel really welcome here. I got the purple drink, a shot of casamigos, fries & spinach dip. All of it was really good & better then most bars. Definitely a conveniently located bar by our hotel.

Elena S.

Yelp
I come here once every other week or so. The food and atmosphere are great and nice for brunch or dinner. Food: Get the brussel sprouts and thank me later. I prefer their appetizers to their entrees so if you aren't super hungry, I would recommend splitting a bunch of apps. Also I'm a huge fan of buffalo chicken but wow their buffalo chicken pizza was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. Vibe: Great spot to grab a beer. It's kind of dark and cozy on the inside. Huge bar and pretty good selection of beers. Service can be slow at times and they seem understaffed when they are really busy so try to be patient during that time.

Greg Z.

Yelp
I might give it 3.5 stars but I went to 4 stars as 3 was too low. Great ambiance but a touch pricey vs value. Lots of 13 oz beers priced like pints... Food took an exceptionally long time to arrive. The kitchen suggested that farro was gluten free but it is not.

Ashely Maria A.

Yelp
First time here last night and it was a nice time however we did not feel welcomed when we walked in so it sort of messed up the vibe I had. The crowd was mellow for a Friday night and the waitress (Silvia) was very friendly. The chicken wings were a 10/10- I would so go back and eat primarily wings! (Lol) The pasta was okay (6.5/10), I definitely feel like it could be improved but it satisfied the hunger I had. The Nashville hot chicken with macaroni and cheese was really good (8/10). We actually saved it and ended up heating it up today and it may even taste a bit better. Drinks were 10/10!

Kathleen R.

Yelp
I had the Shrimp bowl and it was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service was great and the place is very clean. Parking is accessible too, if I am in area j would definitely go back.

Dave R.

Yelp
I was staying around the corner from the restaurant for a business trip and wound up having dinner here twice. I got the salmon one night and it was amazing. Finally a place that doesn't cook the fish to death but it still have a nice, crispy skin. The other night I got the fish and chips. Again, the batter on the fish was light and crisp. The fish wasn't what I was used to when ordering fish and chips as the fish was huge and covered the plate. Restaurant was nice, clean and offered a nice variety of food. The service at the bar was great. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be back.

Erick G.

Yelp
Some mistakes were made with our orders, but honestly, the food was so goddamned good that we really didn't care. Cocktails were solid, service was great, atmosphere was very cool (other than the weird urinating children decals on the bathroom doors...) I'd call this one of the nicer places I've eaten in Boston.

Sam N.

Yelp
Used to love this place. Came here after a long trip. They took pizza off the menu, which was the reason we came. FYI, they took pizza and barbecue off the menu. We found other stuff to order. The food was just ok, not as good as I remember. My issue is with the bar staff. The female bartender was not friendly or personable at all, she really should find a different profession bc she won't get much tips with her level of service. She was so busy trying to close the bar since 10:00pm when last call is actually not until 11:30pm. I guess she thought if she stopped serving drinks the bar would still be clean at closing, bc she never asked if we wanted another round. I'm updating this review bc the management staff reached out to me to apologize for our recent bad experience. They were kind enough to offer me a gift card to give them another try (which was so kind, but I declined). To my knowledge this is not a chain restaurant, and I really feel like it's important to support small businesses and local business owners. Otherwise, in the future, all we will have for dine out options will be the fast food giants. We have had multiple positive experiences here in the past and it's unfortunate we let one (new?) bartender alter our perception of this place after just one bad visit. I do wish they would pizza back on the menu, though.

Td R.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent. Goid value. The live music was too loud and a .distraction.

Carra F.

Yelp
Came here for the margarita flight Mondays. They were okay but I really only liked the Paloma and strawberry margaritas. The street corn was really good, I loved the sauce on it! The fried chicken sandwich was spicier than I expected but still tasted amazing between gulps of water because I can't handle spicy foods. Really liked the sweet potato fries. The pretzel appetizer was okay. The pot stickers were really good. The cookie lava dessert was over cooked and no chocolate actually flowed out because it was too burnt but still edible. I would love to come back and try more of the menu! The outside seating was perfect on a late summer night.

Bianca F.

Yelp
Came here on oct 31st with my family and as always , a great time. We started off with the giant pretzel which is my fav ! And I ordered a Greek salad with salmon and it was the best salad I've said in a long time. It was the perfect size with fresh ingredients, I would so get it again ! This place is a favorite spot of mine im happy I live near by so I can go whenever I want ! I also should mention our server was awesome , he does an amazing job making sure we have everything we need all while tending to many other tables ! Great place

Momo R.

Yelp
We visited on a Tuesday and realized it was Trivia Night. We didn't participate, but really enjoyed hearing the trivia questions. We were there to watch the game and our server was prompt and upbeat. If you like spicy drinks, this place is for you. For drinks, we had the Smoke Show Margarita, Hot Damn Margarita, and and Oaxacan Old Fashioned. One star off because the Oaxacan Old Fashioned wasn't made right.. at all. The margs were yummy so I'd recommend trying them. Our server recommended the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint! We also enjoyed the short rib poutine, fish and chips, and spinach & artichoke dip. Everything we had was delicious and we look forward to going back to try other things on the menu.

Brenden H.

Yelp
2 of us went there for dinner after a sox game on 9/9/23. Got there around 8:30pm. Seated quickly...restaurant was not busy at all. Looking forward to having some great pub food from a menu that looked great! Drinks took 10 minutes to get (and sat at the bar for a while...server issue not bartender). The server stood at the front of the restaurant and was on his phone for quite some time. Went to Longcross specifically for their chicken sandwich and short rib poutine. Was disappointed to hear that there was nothing available that comes from a grill or fryer. That was essentially most of what we came there for! Ordered salad and Ruben and BLT. Both were "OK" but server never brought silverware after bringing food. I ended up stealing from another table on the other side of the restaurant. Would have asked the server, but he didn't come back until we were 3/4 way done with our sandwiches. Ultimately a poor experience due to the 1) server, 2) very limited menu, which was not "as advertised" online. Sad that we went here instead of something over at Assembly Square. Disappointing for my nephew and I.

Billie Jo W.

Yelp
The staff were very inviting and friendly and didn't have to wait long to be served. The bar is nice I think the layout makes it feel more crowded. The food was excellent I got the shepherds pie. It came with side salad which unfortunately was not brought out until I had already started eating my meal. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
One of the best and diverse beer lists in the area. Food is great, I especially liked the blend of flavors and textures of the K town bowl. The meatloaf and Mac & cheese is also a winner. I've been a few times but only for lunch -- service has been great at that less busy time.
