M&M'S New York

Candy store · Midtown West

"The M&M’s Store exists somewhere between a SkyMall photography set and a handy place for children to expend all the energy from a sugar rush. Yes, it's incredibly corporate, but the sheer scale makes it impressive in a Times Square kind of way, and all the grinning kids inside are pretty endearing. Blow past the first floor, where you’ll find t-shirts emblazoned with M&M’s saying things like “I may be sweet but I don’t sugarcoat things.” On the second floor, there are floor-to-ceiling tubes full of color-coordinated chocolate candies, an M&M’s customizing station, and of course, more rainbow-colored merch. Spend most of your time here—M&M’s are $9.50 per half-pound, which sounds expensive until you realize you’re actually getting a discount of about a dollar per pound over the corner store.
