"The al pastor tacos on handmade corn tortillas and the quesadillas are what put Vaquero Taquero on the map. But it’s the very well-executed breakfast tacos—especially the bacon, egg, and cheese (with the cheese crisped up on the griddle first)—that make us consider going back to school. Or at least, heading a few blocks north of UT to Vaquero Taquero’s campus-area outpost.
