Good Times Brewery & Venue

Brewery · Lakeview East

"GoodTimes Brewery is a brewpub in Lakeview serving OK beer, and food that’s an afterthought. The menu is primarily full of thin-crust pizzas drowning in flavorless cheese and watery sauce, plus sandwiches and burgers. There’s also BBQ with various smoked meats, like ribs, brisket, and wings that are overcooked and over-sauced. Ignore the food and focus on the beer instead—there are about nine beers on tap, some of which will probably be flat, but you can hedge your bet by ordering a $15 flight. The comically cavernous, 10,000-square-foot, warehouse-chic space is great for huge groups, so keep it in mind the next time your entire department wants to skip work to drink beer and watch a Cubs game." - Veda Kilaru
