"Everyone loves The Wingbar. Hours before a Knicks playoff game, this Carroll Gardens bar fills up with people claiming tables and ordering their first pitcher. The best seats in the house might actually be in the covered backyard, with a bunch of TVs and a lot of long tables that are good for groups. But even on an off night, this place is perfect for—you may have already guessed it—chicken wings. The tiny kitchen at the back of the bar is lined with industrial grade bottles of Frank’s Red Hot, and the wings, which come in bowls of 10, 20, 50, or 100, are no-nonsense and highly satisfying. Go for the classic buffalo wings, which nail that crispy-gone-soggy balance, or the tangy voodoo dry rub wings. You can also specify whether you want only drums, only flats, or a mix of the two.
