"You’ve probably ordered a Philly Bagel before from one of their locations all across the city. But now the operation has new owners—the team behind Schmear It—and the bagels are much improved. We like the Hot Honey sandwich, which stacks bacon, egg, cheddar, jalapeño cream cheese, and a drizzle of hot honey on a bagel of your choosing. But every bagel here is hefty, slightly crisp on the outside, and has a notably chewy interior. The real razzle dazzle, though, is the cream cheese, which comes with anything and everything you can imagine. Whether you’re a purist who sticks to plain with plain, or take your garlic bagel with peanut butter-Nutella-banana spread on top (no judgment here), you'll be happy.
