"If you miss Chinatown classic Prosperity Dumplings, go to King Dumplings on Hester Street, which is where you’ll find the dumpling guy who helped you survive your early 20s. This old-school spot with a bit of a makeover—some graffiti-style wall art featuring an anthropomorphic dumpling—is the kind of place you’d want to duck into when you get caught in the rain and could use a snack. Inside, you’ll find one table and a few counter seats, plus very good, simple, thicker-skinned jiaozi that cost $4 for an order of 10. There are also noodle or dumpling soups, as well as sesame pancake sandwiches stuffed with things like roast pork and peking duck for a filling meal that you can eat while you walk." - Carina Finn
