"Outside of 24 hour diners, few places in the city have full menus available past midnight. Enter Estelle’s. This dark, divey bar and restaurant has been a Wicker Park staple since 1999, and is open until 4am every day except Saturday—when it’s open until 5am. The menu has things like burgers, sandwiches, and salads. But their long list of fried appetizers like pizza puffs, fried cheese curds, and mac and cheese bites all taste particularly good after a night of drinking. You can get any of them topped “hot mess style” (aka with cajun seasoning and garlic parm) and is probably an appropriate term if you’re here at 3am." - John Ringor
