Doner kebabs, rice bowls & craft beer are featured at this Dungeons & Dragons–inspired hangout.
"Level 20 centaurs all the way from Chondalwood and mere humans from just across Belmont gather to hang out, eat, and drink at DMen Tap, a Dungeons & Dragons-themed bar in Avondale. The backroom has plenty of tables for people to embark on D&D campaigns while drinking and eating dishes like tasty charred döner kebab wraps or tangy, spiced currywurst. And for gamers who could care less about 12-sided dice, they also have a slew of board games, pinball machines, and an N64 if you want to show off your Mario Kart skills." - josh barnett, john ringor

Their long drink menu is full of beer, cocktails, and even mead, and the European dishes like charred döner kebab wrapped in yufka or tangy currywurst are all solid. For gamers who could care less about 12-sided dice, the back room also has pinball machines and N64. " - john ringor, adrian kane

"A Krampus-themed D&D game, a kids’ Krampus day, and a pop-up market are just the beginning of DMen Tap’s European anti-Santa Krampus pop-up, a particular favorite among those who favor punk rockin’ around the Christmas tree. A special brew from Revolution Brewing made just for the pop-up called “Fist of Krampus” will be available along with gluwein and other themed cocktails. The festivities kick off on Friday, December 1, with a parade through Avondale featuring punk rock marching band Environmental Encroachment." - Naomi Waxman, Eater Staff
"The brick-and-mortar outpost of a popular food truck, DMen Tap focuses on German street fare. Scarf down warm pretzels, schnitzel sandwiches, bratwursts, currywursts, or doner kebabs — the restaurant’s signature item made of chicken cooked on a vertical rotisserie. There are a host of vegan and gluten-free options too, along with craft beers on tap." - Naomi Waxman, Ashok Selvam, Eater Staff
