"During the day, Himalaya Kosheli is primarily a place to stop for a quick lunch buffet and take down a dozen Indian and Nepali dishes, ranging from shrimp vindaloo and chicken tikka masala to Himalayan goat and chicken curries. But that’s not what this place does best. Show up at night—or just skip the buffet during the afternoon—for a larger assortment of kormas, masalas, curries, and more. The food tastes fresher in the evenings (like it hasn't been sitting out for a while) and the spices are more pronounced when you order directly from the menu. Still, there’s no denying the appeal of filling a plate with more dishes than you can keep track of if you decide to hit the lunch spread. photo credit: Nicolai McCrary" - Nicolai McCrary
