"If you’re familiar with Kikoo, you’ve probably heard of the East Village location of this all-you-can-eat (and drink) sushi place, which has an actual bouncer and seems to survive on 22-year-old birthdays. That one’s kind of scary. But the Upper West Side location is less so. It’s still the same concept—$45 for AYCE sushi, $50 to add on all-you-can-drink—but it’s slightly more chill. The fish shouldn't be studied under a microscope. It should be topped with too much eel sauce or spicy mayo, and washed down with a sake bomb. Rinse, repeat, and don’t think too hard about it, and you’ll have a fun evening. Things do get rowdy, especially on weekends when the place fills with big groups, but it’s not all entirely recent college grads." - willa moore, will hartman, allie conti, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah, bryan kim
