"Yardsale Cafe sells coffee and pastries (hence the cafe). But also has shelves full of trinkets for sale (hence the Yardsale). There’s only two seats at this Park Slope spot, but you could easily spend awhile in here, browsing the baseball cards and old playbills, before remembering how hungry you are. At that point, head to the counter to pick up a hefty Too Much Chocolate Cookie with—as advertised—stacked layers of chocolate, or a golden-brown cheese bureka. We also like the cinnamon rolls, which have a flakiness that’s babka-adjacent (they make good babka here too), thick swipes of cream cheese frosting, and a strong cinnamon filling that’s so plentiful that every layer tastes like the center of your usual cinnamon roll. That makes it pretty good for sharing, if you must. photo credit: Kate Previte photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore Pause Unmute" - Willa Moore
