"Melrose Umbrella Co. was once a crowded, sticky-floored bar where waving down a bartender took a half hour. These days, it’s mellowed out and is an ideal stop for some yuletide beverages. The vaguely pre-industrial space (Is it a medieval church? A wand shop? Everybody sees something different) is decked out in Christmas trees, wreaths, and a chalkboard menu on the wall with cold-weather specials. Think boozy eggnog, mulled wine, and gin cocktails made with vanilla and cinnamon." - sylvio martins, brant cox
