"At Sid Gold’s Request Room, you can listen to Sinatra live. Except it won’t actually be Sinatra—it’ll be some guy from Long Island who comes here every Saturday and does a pretty decent impression. That’s just one of the characters you might run into at this Chelsea bar with live piano karaoke six nights a week. Sid Gold’s feels like it was transported straight from 1970s Vegas, and it’s a magical place where all of your dreams will come true (as long as all of your dreams involve singing Billy Joel in front of strangers). There’s a bar up front, but you want to sit in the small lounge in the back where all the magic happens.
