"Maru, a local mini-chain specializing in sushi and yakitori, just opened its fourth location in Wedgewood-Houston. Inside, it’s industrial chic: lots of concrete, exposed pipes, and the odd succulent/cacti adding a bit of color. The menu still features all of their hits, including the tuna crispy rice, pirate treasure roll, matcha ice cream, and the ube colada cocktail." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
