The Best Restaurants In Park Slope

"Real Park Slopers could provide you with a detailed history of La Taq, formerly La Taqueria—how it closed in 2011 after more than two decades, and how it reopened 13 years later, in a space one storefront away from the original. Before your eyes glaze over though, try the carnitas. Greasy and glistening, yet also well-crisped, they’re perfect in the Outrageous California burrito. At $19, it takes the whole super burrito thing up several triumphant notches. There’s a seating area in the back where you should drink a margarita and go to town on your burrito behemoth with a fork and knife, but La Taq is also three blocks from Prospect Park, if you’d like to eat some well-stuffed tortillas in the grass." - willa moore, neha talreja, will hartman
