"There’s always some sort of celebration—a birthday, or a big group dinner—at Spicy Nepal, either in the very-orange interior, or outside in the backyard. Still, this Sunnyside spot is pretty casual, perfect for any old day of the week when you’d like to feel something by way of green chili. Try the chicken choila, served cold with a thick, dark sauce that’s equal parts very spicy and fenugreek-forward, and whatever off-menu item your server might present you with that day. (For us, it was samosas.) Round out your order with dhindo and Tibetan thukpa, and try to make friends with someone here so you get invited to their next Spicy Nepal party. They won’t." - Willa Moore
