"Names used to be called , and they used to specialize in funky, Caribbean-inspired ramen. Now they also serve funky pizza, but they still have ramen. Oh, and they also make towering . In other words, this large corner spot in Prospect Lefferts Garden is doing a lot. But whether you get a pizza or a bagel, and whether you sit in the plant-filled dining room or at a big table outside, Names is great for a relaxed evening with friends when nobody wants to take the train anywhere. The standard pizzas are already very saucy and cheesy, but try something funkier, like the Dirty Crab, which has crab, miso ricotta, and crab chips. We spent a few days trying to figure out if we actually liked it, before deciding we definitely did, and must go again. They also own the bar next door, so post-dinner drinks are handled.
