"1-900-ICE-CREAM is best known for making soft serve ice cream that has both Fishtown and Rittenhouse locals lining up around the block. But they also have a rotation of sundaes that look like they’ve been pulled straight out of Eureeka's Castle. The creamy mishmash can span from strawberry and cream soft serve topped with cubes of pillowy pound cake and Fruity Pebbles to their Frosted Animal Cookie Sundae, which is like a tasty unicorn in a cup. No matter what they’re swirling, it’s excellent. And worth the lines. The shop actually opens at 1pm daily and the crowds mostly come around 7pm and later—when people have finished dinner or had five drinks. So we recommend going early if you truly want a chance to taste the creamiest soft serve.
