Camaraderie - Review - The Heights - Houston - The Infatuation

"Camaraderie is what happens when a cool cocktail bar and a fine dining restaurant get together and move into a former woodworking shop in The Heights. On one side is a lounge and patio with a short a la carte menu, and across the planter divide, a packed dining room with a $75 prix fixe and a yacht rock soundtrack. The French-leaning a la carte options are dialed-in and just fancy enough: manchego cheese curls (think Cheetos that studied abroad), a chilled heirloom tomato pie that nails the tangy-creamy sweet spot, and a rotating Texas-cut steak-and-potatoes situation. Dessert, including an incredible melba pavlova, is where the chef flexes his experience at March, where he ran the sweet side of things. If this is just the lounge menu, we can’t wait to come back to try the tasting. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Brooke Viggiano
