The 11 Best Long Island Wineries 2024

"The entrance to Rose Hill’s tasting room is a little difficult to find (the gorgeous farmhouse out front is their inn), but just follow the sound of happy vineyard hoppers to find an oasis of green velvet seating inside, plus lots of shady chairs and tables outside. Rose Hill is a more intimate foil to some of the bigger destinations in the North Fork—the subway-tiled bar would look great on your socials—but you won’t see (or hear) a large group of people surrounding someone in a veil and sash. Rose Hill also works if you did minimal planning for your winery visits, since it’s first come, first served. " - anne cruz
