"At Dinings SW3, a sushi spot in Knightsbridge, the interiors are sleek and sexy, with huge windows where you can see their small courtyard during balmy lunchtimes. Despite the hefty price tag that comes with a couple of rounds of sushi here, the atmosphere is relaxed: people rock up in hoodies and you’ll find the odd kid eating a toro temaki at the counter while their parents order another round of nigiri. And that’s our favourite thing about this place. It’s not about posing in front of mirrored walls or trying to tune out a noise-polluting DJ. It’s about perfect, uncomplicated fish, and nothing else. We haven’t tried anything here we haven’t liked because the whole menu is a safe bet. From the white fish carpaccio and crispy rice with avocado, to the shrimp tempura inside out roll and the potted blue lobster sliders—you can count on Dinings SW3 for a close-to-flawless meal. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Food Rundown photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Crispy Rice Avocado This is a fun take on regular crispy rice. The deep-fried balls of rice are crunchy and light, and the smashed avocado comes with a fun little spoon. It’s a refreshing starter that’s perfect to share between a couple of friends. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Lobster Slider A lobster slider is the mini burger you never knew you needed. The light, steamed bun is filled with soft, citrussy potted blue lobster, and it makes for three bites of pure bliss. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Scallop Nigiri Softer than butter, the scallop is so moreish and light that you’ll immediately want another. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Maguro Maki There are three types of tuna—chunks of akami, chu toro, and o-toro—in this maki roll. It’s a velvety, smooth, big mouthful that’s pretty flawless." - Rianne Shlebak
