"Compose Coffee is a Korean cafe by Charing Cross with a drinks menu so long you couldn’t get through it if you came for a whole week straight. Despite the colourful menu, the cafe feels like a waiting room. The plain walls and muted atmosphere don’t encourage lingering, so we’d rather take anything to go. From the food side of things, there are egg drop sandwiches that are so sweet, they taste like they’ve been drenched in honey, and a savoury cake-like creation in the shape of a one pound pang coin with a cheese pull that’ll take you all the way to the other side of the cafe. We’re fans of the einspanner latte, so we’d steer clear of the food and focus on getting that, and find somewhere to perch around Trafalgar Square." - Rianne Shlebak
