"Taqueria El Barrio is a fast-casual taco place on Comm Ave near the Brookline/Allston border. It’s in the heart of BU’s campus, but this is a place you should try even if you’re not a student, because the tacos are very good (and if you’re staying away from meat, they have a vegetarian chorizo taco that would trick you into thinking you’re eating the real thing). It doesn’t currently have a liquor license, but it’s planning on serving beer soon, and in the meantime, it has a good selection of rotating agua frescas." - Dan Secatore
