"Redneck Riviera labels itself “home of the heroes” and proves it by covering every square inch of wall and bar with patches from various military and first responders. Oh, and by making a giant American flag out of beer cans behind the booze. John Rich’s spot is a divey joint with no stage to speak of (on the first floor at least), just a little space where they stuck a couple of mic stands instead of tables. When it’s packed, you won’t be able to see or do much, but at least you don’t need much space to put down a loaded chili, cheese, and jalapeño Heroes Hot Dog that’s reminiscent of a Sysco frank. Take your photo with Granny Rich on the wall and, if you stick around long enough, it’s not uncommon for Big and Rich themselves to show up and force the band to stay way longer than their shift." - Ann Walczak
