"There’s always a good reason to stop by Fort Greene, which is probably why it’s become the neighborhood bar to so many who live outside its Globeville neighborhood. Those “good reasons” include high energy DJ sets, patio cookouts, tarot readings, literary meetups, nude still life drawing classes, and puppy costume parties. And if you’re into all those things, congratulations! You’re a very well-rounded individual. The décor is part shabby-chic vintage plant shop and part grandpa’s seedy basement, depending on where you pull up an upholstered chair. Even more inviting is the drink menu, where there are nearly as many N/A options as cocktails, plus a handful of natural wines, beers, and a lone sake juice box." - Allyson Reedy
