"This ice cream shop (est. 1946) evokes the charm of black-and-white films or those nostalgic movie scenes where couples share a milkshake topped with whipped cream. Roxy’s superpower is taking seasonal Mexican fruits like chicozapote or mamey, and whipping up incredible creations in cone and sundae form. They add chamoy to the latter, a distinctly Mexican combination featuring your favorite fruit flavor (tamarind is always our choice), drizzled with chamoy sauce that adds acidity and mild spiciness, along with a sprinkle of chile powder.
