"The packed tables and high-volume music at Residents means dinner is the only thing you need to plan for a weekend night. The restaurant is loud and buzzy, and while not strictly Middle Eastern (you’ll find carbonara and a smashburger on the menu) there are undercurrents of the region’s cuisine. Look for pops of flavor like in the za’atar cauliflower, chermoula octopus, and lamb gyros. It’s the mix of a little bit of everything—and everyone—that makes Residents interesting. We love the atmospheric space’s almost overwhelming number of plants that decorate the dining room (and change seasonally), which make the restaurant feel a lot farther away than Dupont." - Madeline Weinfield
