Conwell Coffee Hall - Review - Financial District - New York - The Infatuation
"Conwell Coffee Hall is in the lobby of a residential building in FiDi, but it's not your usual airbrushed condo coffee shop. Located in the former headquarters of a major bank, the Art Deco space has a central marble hall, two seating areas, and a mural stretched above that shows a cityscape in the muscular WPA style of the 1930s. In case that's not enough intrigue, the people behind the soon-to-close show Sleep No More have been planning a new immersive experience here. Use Conwell Coffee Hall as a place to have a meeting, or get some work done at a table illuminated by a green banker's lamp. Couches, outlets, and wifi are plentiful.
