The George - Review - Downtown - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Seattle has a real deficit of restaurants that are as posh as a scene from Sex And The City. And just like that, The George opened. If you’re looking for a new place to dress up without feeling ridiculous and eat some fries or pasta with a glass of bubbles at the bar, add this opulent spot in the newly-renovated Fairmont Olympic Hotel to your back pocket. The menu, involving everything from seafood towers to pasta, is longer than a spoiled child’s holiday wishlist, and while some dishes don't live up to our expectations (like tough steak and even tougher duck breast), we're huge fans of their lamb agnolotti swimming in a silky parmesan broth. And, of course, the fries. photo credit: Charity Burggraaf, Fairmont Olympic" - Aimee Rizzo
