"One perk of Alexandra’s monthly, all-vegetarian service is that it has a modern coffee shop chillness void of pretention. And there are a few good bites here—like waldorf salad with pops of apple and blue cheese funk, red wine-infused chocolate olive oil cake, and of course, the macaron of the moment. But most of the savories are stale, almost like they were assembled hours ago and left in the fridge uncovered. After shelling out $200 for three people, it’s kind of a ripoff." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo
