"Since 1979, this six-seat counter next to a deli has been slinging brick-like tortas absolutely overrun with queso oaxaca, like their star milanesa torta. It might be atorta de milanesa, but the chipotle peppers and avocado take a back seat to the creamy, melted, pull-apart queso. Prepare for the ultimate cheese pull. It’s $8 for a regular torta, but we recommend the $15 torta especial, a monstrous mess that can feed 2-3 people.
