Karaoke · Flushing

"Step off the escalator on the third floor of Flushing's New World Mall, pass through a banquet hall that may or may not be deserted, and you'll find a host stand guarding one of the most luxurious karaoke experiences in NYC. The Real KTV is for big nights, and bigger checks. They only do private karaoke here, in rooms with oversized leather couches, concert-quality lighting, and formidable sound systems. Karaoke starts at $40 per hour, with a minimum of two hours, and the good news is, drinks are deducted from your room fee. The bad news? Cocktails start north of $20. Other than that, the only downside is that the touchscreen system is tricky to navigate, although it does have options in a few different languages. If you’re going all night, try some fried chicken or beef noodle soup." - Bryan Kim
